What is Microblading?

Microblading is a manual, semi-permanent procedure where hair-like incision stokes are created and pigment inserted into the upper layers of the skin, to achieve full and natural looking eyebrows.
I use a technique during the mapping of the brows, which uses Phi, the Golden Ratio to achieve the perfect shape.
The company which trained me is actually called PhiBrows!

Frequently Asked Qestions

Once you have decided to make an appointment for microblading with me, we will first need a consultation, which will include a patch test.
This is usually done face to face at my studio in Nairn, although for those living further afield, I may be able to make arrangements to send a patch kit and consultation form by post.
Next, comes the main microblading appointment, which usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours.
Over the next few weeks your brows will need time to heal.
The next step is a “top-up” appointment which can take up to an hour or two, depending on your healed results.
The result should be full and natural looking brows which can last between 8 to 18 months, depending on skin-type.

Eyebrow microblading is the art of creating fuller thicker eyebrows through the use if a manual tattooing technique. The process involves the application of detailed, fine lines on the eyebrow area that effectively mimic the natural color and fine hairs that form the eyebrow. First, a fine scalpel or blade is used to make fine, microstroking incisions on the skin in a shape and form that has been predetermined by the microblading specialist and the client
